Retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, retinols, and antibiotics should be avoided 7-14 days prior to and post-treatment with a medical grade peel. BioRePeel should not be utilized under the following conditions: active bacterial, viral, fungal, or herpetic infections; open wounds; pre-existing inflammatory dermatosis (i.e., psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pemphigus); skin cancer, unless you have been cancer-free for a period of 3 years with direct written notice from a physician; pregnancy; a history of drugs with photosensitizing potential; use of Accutane within the last 6-8 months; any cosmetic surgery that has not fully healed; and aspirin allergy.
